Smoking, Pets & Property Information

Pets are not permitted on the property. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the house. If you smoke outdoors, please do so away from all doors and windows and dispose of cigarette butts properly. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground or anywhere on the property.

A separate basement apartment is located beneath the Grand Maker’s Suite and has its own exterior entrance. The apartment is rented separately from the retreat. The tenant parks in front of the third garage, so we kindly ask that you leave this space clear and do not park in front of that garage. Thank you for respecting our tenant’s access and parking space.

A quilting getaway where a group of 8–10 friends brings their own food, sewing machines, and projects to enjoy dedicated quilting space, comfortable overnight accommodations, and uninterrupted time together to sew, create, and relax.

Reserving Your Private Quilt Retreat

Booking your private retreat can be done on this website or by calling Stephanie at 435-590-8287.

The cost of booking is $600 per night for up to 8 people. There is a 3 night minimum. Guests 9 and 10 will each be charged $75.00 per night. Taxes are included in this price.

A deposit of $600 is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation. The full remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival.

A $200 refundable cleaning deposit is required for each retreat reservation. The deposit will be refunded after checkout, provided the home is left in good condition and does not require cleaning beyond normal turnover.

Perpetual Calendar Option

Guests who wish to make Cedar City Quilt Retreat their annual quilting tradition may choose to join our Perpetual Calendar.

By opting in, your group may reserve the same dates each year, subject to availability and compliance with our booking policies. Your group will receive priority to retain those dates before they are offered to other guests.

When you join the Perpetual Calendar, your initial $200 cleaning deposit will be held as your ongoing Perpetual Calendar deposit rather than refunded after your current stay. This deposit secures your group's place on the Perpetual Calendar.

For each subsequent year's stay, a new $200 refundable cleaning deposit will be collected. That year's deposit will be refunded after checkout, provided the home meets the cleaning and condition requirements above. Your original $200 Perpetual Calendar deposit will remain on hold while your group maintains its annual reservation.

If your group chooses to leave the Perpetual Calendar, the original $200 deposit will be refunded, provided all outstanding obligations have been met and your group is no longer holding future dates.

Please note: Joining the Perpetual Calendar does not replace the reservation deposit or payment requirements for each year's stay. Your group must confirm and pay for each annual reservation by the deadlines provided to retain its dates. For more information, visit our Perpetual Calendar page.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

The $600 reservation deposit is non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your reservation, the deposit may be transferred to another date, subject to availability.

Any additional prepayments made toward your reservation may also be transferred to a new date, subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate your group and help you find an alternative date for your quilting getaway.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

A fun, group quilting getaway designed for quilters who don’t have a group of 8–10 friends to bring along. Enjoy typically three nights of lodging, meet new quilting friends, work on your own projects, and participate in a make-and-take activity. We provide two dinners and three breakfasts, with one evening set aside to enjoy dinner out at your own expense. Come on your own or bring a friend and leave with new friendships, memories, and quilting inspiration!

Patchwork Friends Cancellation Policy

Because Patchwork Friends Retreats have limited spaces and require advance planning for lodging, meals, and activities, all reservations are subject to the following cancellation policy.

Payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to another Patchwork Friends Retreat date, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, and we will do our best to help you find another available retreat.

If you are unable to attend and cannot transfer your reservation, you may arrange for another person to take your spot, with advance approval from Cedar City Quilt Retreat.
