Welcome to Quilting with BGE

You may be wondering where the name BGE came from. BGE stands for Best Grandma Ever—my grandma name! While it might sound like a bold claim, it isn't meant to say I'm the world's best grandma. Instead, it's a daily reminder to simply be the best grandma I can be.

Although I've always loved quilting, I began computerized longarm quilting professionally for others in 2021 after my divorce. What started as a second job to help support my son and me quickly became so much more. I discovered not only a creative outlet, but a passion that I truly love.

Along the way, I found an incredible community of quilters who have become cherished friends. Every quilt has a story, and I feel honored each time someone trusts me to add the finishing touch to something they have poured their heart into. I believe every quilt becomes more beautiful with each step of its journey, and it's a privilege to be part of that journey.

Life has a wonderful way of bringing unexpected blessings. After marrying my amazing husband, George, our shared love of quilting and gathering people together inspired us to open Cedar City Quilt Retreat. Today, I'm blessed to combine two things I love—creating beautiful quilts and providing a place where quilters can learn, laugh, create, and make lasting memories together.
