Our Perpetual Calendar is designed for private retreat groups who want to return to Cedar City Quilt Retreat at the same time each year. Enjoy the familiarity of your favorite quilting space, the comfort of knowing where you'll stay, and the fun of making memories with your quilting friends year after year.
Bring your group of 8–10 friends, your sewing machines, your projects, and your own food. We'll provide the custom-built quilting studio and comfortable accommodations. You bring the creativity, friendship, and fun!
How the Perpetual Calendar Works
1. Join the Perpetual Calendar
If your group loves its stay and wants to make it an annual tradition, let Stephanie know before checkout. We'll discuss your preferred dates for the following year and explain the program requirements.
2. Receive priority for your preferred dates
Perpetual Calendar groups receive priority to reserve their preferred dates for the following year before those dates are offered to the general public. Your dates must be confirmed by the deadline provided to your group.
3. Secure your next year's reservation
A $600 reservation deposit is required to secure your next stay. Your remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. Your group must complete the booking and payment requirements each year to retain its reservation.
4. Enjoy your annual quilting getaway!
Return to your favorite retreat, reconnect with your friends, and enjoy uninterrupted time to sew, create, laugh, and relax together.
How the $200 Perpetual Calendar Deposit Works
A $200 refundable cleaning deposit is required for every private retreat reservation. The deposit is refunded after checkout, provided the home is left in good condition and does not require cleaning beyond normal turnover.
When your group joins the Perpetual Calendar, your initial $200 cleaning deposit will be retained as your Perpetual Calendar deposit rather than refunded after your current stay.
For each subsequent annual stay:
- A new $200 refundable cleaning deposit will be collected.
- Your new cleaning deposit will be refunded after checkout, provided the home meets the cleaning and condition requirements.
- Your original $200 Perpetual Calendar deposit will remain on hold while your group maintains its place in the program.
The Perpetual Calendar deposit is separate from your $600 reservation deposit and the balance due for each stay.
What If Our Group Needs to Skip a Year?
We understand that schedules change, and sometimes your group may not be able to get together every year.
To maintain your place on the Perpetual Calendar and hold your preferred dates during a skipped year, a $200 date-hold fee will apply. If your group returns the following year, the fee will be credited toward your next reservation.
If your group chooses not to pay the date-hold fee, your preferred dates will be released and may be booked by another group.
Please contact Stephanie as early as possible if your group needs to skip a year.
What If We Decide to Leave the Perpetual Calendar?
Your group may choose to leave the Perpetual Calendar at any time. Once your group has no future dates reserved or being held, your original $200 Perpetual Calendar deposit will be refunded, provided all outstanding obligations have been met.
Any existing confirmed reservations remain subject to the applicable reservation and cancellation policies.
