Cedar City Quilt Retreat FAQ
HOW BIG IS THE RETREAT HOUSE?
Our retreat home is 3600 square feet. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms upstairs and two bedrooms and 1 bathroom downstairs. The Quilters Nook is located downstairs.
IS LONG ARM QUILTING AVAILABLE?
Yes! We are excited to offer computerized long arm quilting (edge to edge) services through Quilting with BG. Please contact me prior to your retreat so we can make arrangements.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE RETREAT?
Our retreat is designed as an adult creative getaway. Guests must be 18 years or older. No children are permitted.
ARE MEALS PROVIDED AT THE RETREAT?
Meals are not provided, but guests are welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy takeout and dining from Cedar City’s local restaurants.
ARE CLASSES TAUGHT AT THE RETREAT?
No formal classes are offered. The retreat is designed as an open creative space where guests work on their own projects and enjoy uninterrupted crafting time.
HOW MANY NIGHTS CAN I STAY, IS THERE A MINIMUM?
A There is a 3-night minimum stay, you can add additional nights at the time of booking.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your own sewing machine, projects, mini irons, and rulers. The retreat provides ample sewing tables, ironing station, a cutting table with mat, t-shirt press, and design walls.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN STAY?
The retreat accommodates 8 guests. Up to 2 additional guests may be added for $75 per person, per night. A maximum of 6 vehicles is allowed.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is 10:00 am and check out is 5:00 pm.
IS THIS RETREAT ONLY FOR QUILTING?
No — the space is perfect for any creative retreat, including quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, painting, and more.
WHAT DOES THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
A $600 reservation deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. Reservations open up to 365 days in advance. Future dates may be secured during your stay. There is a $200 security deposit held on your card 1 day before arrival and is released 7 days after departure if there are no issues.
HOW MUCH IS THE RETREAT?
The cost is $600 per night with a 3-night minimum stay. This includes taxes and cleaning fees. A 2.5% credit card processing fee applies.
The nightly rate covers 8 guests ($75 per person per night). Additional guests (up to 2) are $75 per person, per night.
IF I CANCEL, ARE PAYMENTS REFUNDED?
Payments are refundable if requested 90 days prior to your reservation date. Deposits may be transferred to another booking date. .
HOW MANY PARKING SPACES ARE THERE?
There is enough parking for 6vehicles. Two in the garage, two in the driveway, and 2 in the street. Please carpool and plan accordingly.
CAN I BRING PETS?
No pets are allowed to keep the retreat comfortable for all guests.
IS SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED?
No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the retreat.
